Welcome to the Academy of Style website! We take pride in developing models, actors, television hosts, professionals, and TV kids, in professional  classes. Our students have appeared in Television, Film, Fashion shows, Music videos, Infomercials, Theatre, and Magazines. Regular exposure to media makes these young professionals ready to face any challenge life throws their way! Our talent scouts are now auditioning in Lancaster, CA for our next superstars... We are located at AV Dance Studio, 526 W. Lancaster Blvd, Lancaster, CA 93534.  (Just west of Sierra Hwy, 1 block) Some of our talented students are represented by "Thompson Talent", our management Company, and signed to agents in Hollywood, while other students come for fun, presentation skills, personal development, and improvement in social graces.
The academy welcomes all types and ages, even senior citizens! Call today for more information on a hobby or career in the entertainment industry, or enroll in our fun, confidence building classes. Thompson Talent has open auditions on Saturdays at noon. Bring a headshot or digital photo and come in for a FREE management evaluation.   Additional Thursday evening appointments are available for a select number of applicants each week.

Yes, it's THAT easy!
New classes begin each summer and winter, but are on-going, provided there is space available. Tonia works with only 15 students per class, twice per week, so limited spaces are open during the year. We are currently accepting new students for manners & modeling, tv commercials, scene study, improv, and sword fighting/ combat in action films. No experience is neccessary, and training is available to perfect your audition technique. Classes: Thurs 6-9pm & Saturdays.

Our affiliates in the industry are all professionals, who enjoy helping students learn about the entertainment industry. We are currently producing two projects in the Antelope Valley area, for television and film, using our own student actors and models. If producing, directing, writing, or casting is on your list of jobs in the future, you cannot miss our valuable training programs, and networking with industry insiders. The historic arts section of downtown Lancaster is just behind the LAUSD/ museum parking lot, and one block from the metrolink train station. Park behind the building, just of Sierra Highway and Lancaster Blvd, and look for AV Dance.
